Afghanistan have won the toss and elected to bat first against Namibia in the ICC T20 World Cup Sunday.
Mohammad Nabi said, “The pitch looks good. And they played really well in the last game and are really motivated. Mujeeb-ur-Rahman is unfit and Hamid Hassan comes in his place.
“With Asghar retirement can Afghanistan add a reserve player to their squad,” he said. “They haven’t applied for a replacement yet but then I am not sure if they can do so in case of a retirement.”
“It’s great opportunity for our bowlers to put them under pressure,” said Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus. “It’s not easy to set a target with the wind blowing.”
